Dr. Burmeister's interests are in the treatment/management of IBD, IBS and upper GI pathology - including motility disorders, oesophageal manometry, and 24-hour impedance-pH studies. He also performs pill camera endoscopy as an accredited preferred provider for Southern Cross Health Society.

Dr. Jafer has an interest in upper and lower gastrointestinal diseases, IBD, IBS, colorectal cancer screening and gastrointestinal bleeding/anaemia. He subspecialises in capsule endoscopy and is an accredited preferred provider for Southern Cross Health Society.

Dr. Perry has an interest in both upper and lower gastrointestinal disease, including irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease, along with liver disease.

Associate Professor Walmsley's areas of expertise include the management of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (including Chromoendoscopy for bowel cancer screening), Barrett's oesophagus (including Radio Frequency Ablation therapy, and Endoscopic Mucosal Resection) and Endoscopic UltraSound (EUS). At Te Whatu Ora (Health NZ) Waitemata he is involved in EUS, IBD, Nutritional Failure and Endoscopy Training Lead. He is Chair of the Endoscopy Governance Group for New Zealand (EGGNZ).
Dr Ratna Pandey

Dr. Pandey has an interest in a wide variety of upper and lower gastrointestinal conditions, including reflux, Coeliac disease, inflammatory bowel disease and functional GI disorders. She is also an experienced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopist. She is actively involved in training and teaching future doctors, and is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Auckland. Her current research projects include emerging treatments in IBD.

Dr Marius specialises in a range of gastroenterological conditions including inflammatory bowel, irritable bowel, liver, biliary, pancreatic, gastric and intestinal disorders. He believes in empowering the patient with the knowledge about their condition, fixing the underlying cause if possible and creating a personalised treatment plan. He is experienced in minimally invasive endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, spyglass and ERCP.

Dr Russell has expertise in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of upper and lower gastrointestinal diseases. She sub-specialises in Hepatology, and is an accredited preferred provider for Southern Cross Health Society.
Dr Cameron Shauer

Dr Schauer has a particular subspecialist interest in endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy). In particular, detection and endoscopic treatment of early cancer, specifically screening and surveillance for oesphageal, gastric and colon cancer. Dr Schauer also has widely published and presented research on patient satisfaction and comfort in endoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), colorectal cancer risk factors, symptoms and signs, colonoscopy polyp surveillance and hepatitis B, C and hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer).
